Herkimer Man Charged With Sexual Abuse

A Herkimer man has been arrested for allegedly having sexual contact with a child under 11 years old.

Ilion Police have charged 28-year old Daniel Clements with two counts of sexual abuse and one count of endangering the welfare of a child. Police say the victim was 9-years old at the time of the crime.

Clements was arraigned in Village of Ilion Court and sent to the Herkimer County jail on $25,000 bail.
