Ilion Man Pleads Guilty To Sex Abuse Charges

A 41-year old Ilion man charged with posing as his teenage daughter's online boyfriend to trick her into texting pornographic pictures of herself to him has pleaded guilty to sex abuse charges in Herkimer County Court.

The man has also pleaded guilty in federal court in Syracuse to twelve counts of enticing a child to produce child pornography and receiving and sending child porn.

He faces up to 250 years in prison when he's sentenced in July on those charges.

He's scheduled to be sentenced in Herkimer County in May.
