Ilion School Superintendent Supports Remington Arms

The Superintendent of the Ilion School District say an interview that aired on WKTV regarding the Ilion-Mohawk School District merger portrayed him in a negative light.
Cosimo Tangorra says the portion of the interview where he says the closure of Remington Arms would have a minimal impact on the school tax base was taken out of context.
Tangorra says it makes it look like he doesn’t care if Remington leaves, but nothing could be further from the truth.
He says if Remington were to leave Ilion, it would devastate the Mohawk Valley.
