Ilion Woman Arrested After Shoving, Swearing At Child

Ilion, NY (WIBX) - An Ilion woman is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, after police responded to a reported domestic dispute at her West Main Street residence.
According to Ilion Police, shortly after noon on August 3rd, Holly Marie Remis, 26, was arrested when officers discovered she had placed her foot on her five year-old son’s stomach.
Remis then shoved the boy backwards while swearing at him. He landed about six feet away, but was not injured.
The boy and another sibling have been temporarily placed with other family members.
Remis will answer the charge on August 14th, in the Village of Ilion Justice Court.
