Ilion Woman Stabs Another With Butcher’s Knife, Arrested

Ilion, NY (WIBX) - A stabbing in the Village of Ilion sends one person to the hospital. Ilion Police say 21 year old Jacqueline Leigh Reese was involved in a domestic dispute with another person. It's believed that Reese reached for a butcher's knife during the arguement and stabbed the victim in the lower leg.

Reese was charged with Felony Assault and Criminal Possession of a Weapon. She was arraigned and released on her own recognizance and is expected to reappear in the Town of German Flatts court to answer the charges on August 1, 2011. The victim was treated at a local hospital and released.
