Inactive Hand Grenades Found On Tilden Avenue In Utica

Utica Police are investigating the discovery of two hand grenades in a snowbank on the 400 block of Tilden Avenue Wednesday night.

Police were notified by a passerby and evacuated the immediate area.

The hand grenades turned out to be inactive practice grenades that looked like real hand grenades.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the UPD.
