Increase In Car Larcenies In New Hartford

New Hartford Police say they've seen a recent increase in car larcenies.

Police say the activity has been happening in the Fairway Drive, Winchester Drive and Washington Drive area, along with some activity in the Higby Road neighborhoods.

They're once again reminding residents to lock their vehicles and keep valuables out of sight

The majority of the car larcenies are taking place overnight with vehicles that are left unlocked.
