Independence Party Committee Member John Adams Speaks

Oneida County Independence Party committee member John Adams was featured Monday morning on First News with Keeler in the Morning on WIBX.

Adams candidly spoke about the Tim Julian issue and Independence Party procedure concerning the endorsement of candidates. Particularly, the recent 'authorization' of Frank Meola and Jack Lomedico as Independence Party candidates, which was ruled invalid by a State Supreme Court on Thursday.

Another election challenge is underway on Monday in State Supreme Court which challenges Democratic Party signatures for candidates Jim Zecca and Frank Vescera. A decision is expected Monday afternoon. The ruling could set up a Democratic Primary that would pit Frank Meola against Frank Vescera for Utica Common Council President and Jack Lomedico against Jim Zecca for Council at Large.
