Indiana Man Arrested in Watertown for Alleged Role in Kentucky Murder
An Indiana man is facing murder charges after a traffic stop in Watertown.
New York State Police and Watertown Police arrested 27-year old Miles J. Matthews of Union Chapel Drive in Coryden, Indiana on Sunday, July 20, 2014.
Authorities were alerted to the fact that Matthews might be in the area and stopped the car Matthews was driving on North Meadow Street in Watertown, New York.
Matthews was arrested as a fugitive from justice wanted for the murder of a male taxi driver on Thursday in Oldham County, Kentucky. The car Matthews was driving was identified by police as belonging to the murder victim.
He is being held without bail.
