Utica, NY (WIBX) - It looks there could be a trial for the man accused of killing a Deerfield woman.

30-year old Craig Ingersoll pleaded not guilty in Oneida County Court yesterday in the 2007 murder of Jennifer Bennett.

Her body was found behind the Deerfield firehouse.

Ingersoll was arrested earlier this year after DNA evidence linked him to the crime.

The Oneida County District Attorney's Office extended a plea offer to Ingersoll.

He's due back in court June 26th to accept or reject the offer.
