An innocent bystander is recovering after being shot during a fight in Utica last night.

Utica Police say an argument took pace outside of the UT Convenience Store at 611 South Street in Utica.

The fight moved inside the store and Utica Police say they responded to a shots fired call at approximately 9:48pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 after several of the men arguing drew handguns and began shooting at each other. During the shootout a store patron who was not involved in the argument was shot in the foot.  He was brought to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
