Inspirational Story Prompts ‘Good Morning America’ to Feature Turning Stone

ABC's Good Morning America presented an Albany mother-daughter team with a Turning Stone Resort Spa package on Tuesday after the couple shared an inspirational story.

Mother and daughter Paula O’Neil, 52, and Chantel Batuk, 31, received a weekend package at Turning Stone for their inspirational story about their difficult journey that led to a major accomplishment. According to the Turning Stone, after years of hard work, a severe car accident, GED classes and then eventually enrolling in college together, Paula and Chantel are both graduating from the University of Albany School of Social Welfare with honors.

Robin Roberts of GMA made the presentation. The pair received a visit to the resort for a Forbes Four Star experience, including a stay in the Lodge, a day at Skʌ:nʌ́: Spa, and dinner at Wildflowers Restaurant.
