It's all in good fun; but, the zingers will be flying on Thursday night at the Assemblyman Marc Butler roast to benefit the Herkiner County Historical Society.

Butler will be roasted by a host of 'comics' including attorney George Aney, radio personality Hank Brown and WIBX's own Bill Keeler.

"I'm going in true roasting fashion," said Keeler on WIBX Thursday morning.  "I'm going after the laugh and not the politically correct approach."  Keeler said he'll remind the other roasters they can say whatever they want about Butler. "He won't remember any of it tomorrow morning," quipped Keeler. (Insert rim shot here!)

Keeler should beware, however.  Butler reminded him this morning on air that he has a few insults of his own planned and Bill is one of his targets.

The roast begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 8th at the Travel Lodge in Little Falls.  Tickets are $30 and include dinner.  The event benefits the Herkiner County Historical Society. For ticket information call (315) 866-6413.
