Investigation Continues in Wrong Way Crash in Volney

Authorities are investigating a fatal crash involving two cars in Volney, New York.

New York State Police say the crash happened in the afternoon on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 on State Route 3.

The driver of a vehicle headed eastbound crossed over into the westbound lane by mistake and collided head on with another vehicle.

The driver of the second vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver who allegedly caused the crash was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
