The Oneida County Sheriff's Office is releasing new information on a fatal car-pedestrian accident in Sangerfield.

Investigators say according to witnesses, Donald Holley was seen lying on Route 20, face down with his jacket up over his head.

They say based on their investigation and information they received, Holley intentionally lied down in the road waiting to be run over.

Holley was hit by two vehicles.

The owner of the second vehicle stopped, turned around and called 9-1-1.

Anyone who was traveling on Route 20 in the Waterville-Sangefield area on Monday morning and thinks they may have struck or seen an unknown object in the road is asked to call the Sheriff' Office at 765-2208.
