Is Richard Belzer Dead?
Rumors on the Internet that actor and author Richard Belzer has died are not true.
Belzer, best known for his role on NBC's "Law and Order," has written several books, including, "Someone is Hiding Something," with David Wayne and talk show host George Noory.
On this morning's broadcast of "Coast to Coast AM" Belzer told host Noory, who admitted that he was nervous when they could not initially get in touch with Belzer this morning for an interview, that he was surprised to hear of the rumor. "It is chilling...Physically my corporal body is quite well."
Belzer did say, however, that he has a brother, Len, who died in July of 2014. That death was ruled a suicide.
