Here’s a great way to creep out your Valentine: A new app called Rebtel Re: Beat allows you to record and send your heartbeat via text message. The company boasts that it’s a “new way to declare your love that’s far more personal than a card, a box of chocolates or even roses.” The app captures your heartbeat by “taking” your pulse while you hold your finger over your phone’s camera lens. You can also select a message to send along with the file like: “My heart beats for you,“ or “I’m just a heartbeat away.” Groan. No wonder the app is free.
