Jeffrey Basil Sentenced to 18 Years in Prison for Manslaughter

The man who admitted to pushing another man down a flight of stairs last year has been sentenced to eighteen years in prison.

Jeffrey Basil was sentenced on July 22, 2015 in Buffalo, New York, after pleading guilty to a charge of first degree manslaughter.

The plea was filed in court last month, after Basil was charged in connection with the death of William Sager, Jr. at Molly's Pub in 2014.
