Nick Folk drilled a 43-yard game-winning field goal as time expired boosting the New York Jets to an upset 30-28 win over the Falcons in Atlanta on Monday Night.

The win moves Gang Green and rookie QB Geno Smith to 3-2 on the season, just a game back of the division's perennial champion New England Patriots.

The 0-4 Pittsburgh Steelers visit the Jets at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. Atlanta has a Week 6 BYE.

Smith connected with three different receivers for touchdowns, finishing 16-20 for 199 yards AND 3TD's.

Tight end Kellen Winslow has just one catch on the night, but it was a one-yard TD reception that gave the Jets a 27-14 fourth-quarter advantage.

The Falcons responded a Jacquizz Rodgers 19-yard TD scamper - his second of the game. After stopping the Jets offense, Atlanta drove down the field and grabbed the lead when Matt Ryan connected with Levine Toilolo from three-yards out, making it 28-27 Atlanta with under two-minutes to play.

This came after the Jets-D thought they had stopped the Falcons on a fourth-and-three attempt from inside the 10-yard line. A flag for defensive holding gave Ryan and company new life and eventually the lead.

But it was short lived, as Smith went 4-for-4 for 37 yards in the air, and scrambled for another eight yards - and a first down - on the ground. He twice hit Stephen Hill on the game-winning drive, Hill's only to receptions of the game.

The loss is the second straight at home for the Falcons, and the third straight overall - the first time that's happened in Ryan's career.

The Jets host the 0-4 Steelers on Sunday as Pittsburgh looks to get its first win of the season. The Falcons have a chance to lick their wounds with a Week 6 bye.
