Cortland, NY (WIBX) - The New York Jets will not hold summer training camp at SUNY Cortland this year.

The team announced its postponement based upon logistical complications and time constraints caused by ongoing contract negotiations between NFL owners and players.

Last year's three-week camp brought 41,000 people to the area, and $5.8 millionto the local economy, officials said.

This year's training will take place at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in New Jersey, but will continue in Cortland in 2012 and 2013.
