Joseph Gannascoli - maybe better known on The Sopranos as Vito Spatafore - is reacting to the shocking news that James Gandolfini died this week from a massive heart attack.

Although he and Gandolfini weren't the closest of friends, you could hear the sadness in Gannascoli's voice as he joined WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning on Friday. He recalled Gandolfini as a genuinely nice guy who was shy off camera - nothing like the mob boss he played on television - and said Gandolfini spoke at his wedding and said alot of nice things.

He also said he hoped Gandolfini's sudden death - at age 51 - would be a wake up call for himself.
