Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - Jon Niese gave up just one run to help the New York Mets take a 4-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers in the finale of a three-game set.

Niese (5-5) went 7 2/3 innings and was charged with three hits and four walks along with eight strikeouts for the Mets, who have won four of five. Daniel Murphy, Angel Pagan, Jason Pridie and Ruben Tejada each had an RBI in the win. 

Yovani Gallardo (8-3) lost for the first time since May 2 as he gave up four runs on 10 hits over just four-plus innings for the Brewers, who dropped two of three in the series after taking a four-game sweep of Florida. Prince Fielder drove in the lone run.
