JUMPSTART At HCCC

Herkimer, NY (WIBX) - New freshmen at HCCC will have the chance to learn the skills they need to achieve academic success through college.

The Jumpstart program is free for new students and their parents, and will take place July 28, 2011, and August 9, 2011 at the college from 12:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.

It will include a quick introduction to study skills, tutors, learning styles, and academic resources that are available to the students.

Staff and faculty members will facilitate group discussions to answer questions during the program.

The deadline for JUMPSTART reservations is July 21, 2011.
