Jurors Wanted Child Abuse Charges Against Ramseys

According to the Associated Press, recently released court documents show that in 1999, a grand jury indicted John and Patsy Ramsey for child abuse resulting in death and also for being an accessory to a crime, including murder.The prosecutor in the case at the time refused to prosecute the indictment.

The indictment said the crimes happened between December 25 and 26, which is the day the couple's daughter JonBenet's body was found.

According to the AP, the documents allege both parents intended to delay or prevent the arrest of the alleged killer.
