Juvenile Arrested Following Traffic Stop

New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - New Hartford Police arrested a 15-year old boy following a traffic stop on Route 5 in New Hartford.

Police say the teen was traveling the wrong way on Route 5 near Campion Road with no headlights on.

They say the pickup truck he was driving had just been stolen from a driveway on Lomond Place in Utica.

The boy was allegedly stealing property from unlocked vehicles in the area when he came upon the truck, which had the keys inside.

The juvenile, who name has not been released, was turned over to his guardian.
