Here are highlights from the Keeler in the Morning Show on WIBX for Friday, August 18, 2017.

6AM HOUR

Rachel Sotherland of FOX News Radio is a special guest discussing the attack on Spain.

Willie Waffle reviews the weekend's new movies and this weekend is not at all promising.  Willie reviewed two new movies, Logan Lucky - Two brothers try to pull off a heist during a NASCAR race and The Hitman's Bodyguard - The top bodyguard in the world has to protect a hit man on his way to testify. Both movies get a rough review; but, it's the lightening round at the end revealing which movies in theaters that you SHOULD see makes the interview worth listening.  See below.

7AM HOUR

The Utica police chief and communications director were in studio setting the record straight on the Brown case. Racial accusations of impropriety have been levied against UPD and the chief wants to dispel any incorrect rumors.

Rabbi Didy Waks is on discussing America's national politics from a Jewish perspective.

 

8AM HOUR

Joe Hobika on the Utica Council candidate who dropped out over stolen valor; plus, a lightening round of various topics from a Republican standpoint.

A case in Little Falls where a man with a swastika tattoo was fired from his job. He was exposed by a former classmate who now lives in New York City.  The 'whistleblower' was on with Keeler. Her name is Rochelle Starring.

Monday's solar eclipse will only affect Central New York at a rate of 72%; however, damages to one's eyes could be severe even in the Mohawk Valley. Read the story here.
