- The WIBX crew had a nice dinner last night at the Lotus Garden with Dorothy who bid on the evening out to benefit the Heart Association during the Heart Radiothon.

- It was a great night and Dorothy was very talented. She wrote her own book by hand and she also did her own illustrations.

- Utica is the unofficial "Handshake City." Bill gets into his Edward A. Hanna impression.

- Matt is a body language expert and he has analyzed the President's handshake with Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente.

Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente

- Picente was the first one to greet President Obama when he exited the plane at Griffiss yesterday.

- It wasn't all small talk with the President. He talked to him about Nano, unmanned aircraft testing, and the economy.

- It was a big moment for Griffiss and Picente thanked local law enforcement and airport staff as well.

- The Center for Disease Control wants to put a stop to handshakes all together.

- Matt explains that the handshake is the American version of showing trust and most greetings are about exchanging trust.

- Lt. Hauck talked about a plan B, which was motorcade. Hauck said UPD and state police would have been part of the motorcade. They were ready to go at 3:00.

- Lt. Hauck talks about the theft of copper piping from AC units, manhole covers, catalytic converters, and other precious metals. Central Air units are big now.

- There are two different types of scrappers, the criminal types and there are some that just sort through the garbage.

- If you have a central air unit make sure you go and check on it and be a good neighbor.

- John has our craft beer of the week and it's called "Shiner Ruby Redbird." It's the perfect Summer seasonal.

- Craft beer is the new wine and many new or newly renovated restaurants are using it to fill a niche.

Dr. Jennifer Toyohara - Dermatologist

- Dr. Toyohara talking about safety tips for Memorial Day in regards to sun intake.

- She also commented on the fact that because the edible sunscreen as not been approved by the FDA, avoid it.

- Any kind of sun bathing or tanning is dangerous.

Denver Jones

- Denver was one of the people who protested outside of the Baseball Hall of Fame yesterday and he talks with us about that experience.

- The President didn't get a glimpse of them, or they him, but there was some disappointment.

- SAFE Act issue was addressed again.

- Differences between our state and others in regards to outlook on guns.
