Obama welcomes Trump to the White House for a transition meeting, but Monaski isn't buying that it was such a great meeting considering what the two said about one another on the campaign trail. Add to that one of Trump's biggest campaign promises is to repeal Obama's most significant and lasting actions - implementing Obamacare

Retiring Congressman Richard Hanna in studio this morning with reaction to the presidential election and the race for his replacement. Hanna says he's looking forward to hearing back from Claudia Tenney and making the transition smooth, adding it's not about her or I, it's about the 720,000 people who live in the 22nd district. Regarding the protests of Trump's win, Hanna said what we need is civil disobedience and civil discussion.

8 AM Hour

Allie Kiesel is a local girl from Sauquoit who will perform as Mary Beth in 'A Christmas Story' at The Stanley next week. Plus, Derek Clark from Broadway Utica in studio.

And, Judge Julia Brouillette - an Oneida County Family Court Judge - is talking about local adoptions for National Adoption Day. The local event will include 50 adoptions on that day. The local event is November 18th while National Adoption Day is November 19th.
