  • 1982 "Valley Girl," becomes a top-40 hit for Frank and Moon Unit Zappa. Frank Zappa earned his first and only top-40 hit with the satirical record "Valley Girl," conceived by and featuring the voice of his 14-year-old daughter, Moon Unit.
  • 2002 Kelly Clarkson wins first American Idol. Kelly Clarkson, a 20-year-old cocktail waitress from Texas, wins Season One ofAmerican Idol in a live television broadcast from Hollywood’s Kodak Theater.Clarkson came out on top in the amateur singing contest over 23-year-old runner-up Justin Guarini after millions of viewers cast their votes for her by phone. She was awarded a recording contract and went on to sell millions of albums and establish a successful music career.

A local man met a woman and had her spend the night.  He claims, in the middle of the night, as he slept, she burglarized his home.  He claims she sole a safe and his vehicle.  Now, he can't seem to get police to act on his charge.  What do you think.
