Checking in with Peter Franklin, the Gabby Cabby. He's upset with Mayor Bill de Blasio for closing NYC beeches, as he says, for no reason. Plus, his thoughts on NYC cabbies no longer needing to speak English.

7 AM Hour

Talking with Utica councilwoman Samantha Colosimo-Testa on her opposition to a proposed concrete and asphalt plant on Leland Ave in North Utica. She was joined by North Utica business leaders who oppose the project. The council may vote on a proposal to sell the property tonight.

Now, we speak with Utica Fire Chief Russ Brooks, who also opposes the asphalt plant in North Utica. The Chief also reveals that he's battled cancer, and his doctors told him it was tied to the toxic dust he breathed in on 9/11. Brooks says he's in remission now.

8 AM Hour
