Oneida County has a new Youth Bureau Director.

County Executive Anthony Picente has appointed Kevin Green to the position.

He replaces former Director Bob Roth, who retired in April and had held the post since 2008.

Green comes to the position from Notre Dame High School, where he was a Physical Education teacher.  In addition to his duties at Notre Dame, Green serves as the head coach of the New Hartford High School baseball team.

Kevin had a career that also included stints as a Division II baseball Coach, minor league baseball player and a hitting instructor with the Chicago Cubs

Picente said “Kevin brings a unique set of experiences to this position. From his time on the baseball diamond to his time working with youth in various capacities including as a coach, administrator and teacher. We are lucky to add him to our team and look forward to his leadership within the Youth Bureau.”
