Kevin Harvick dominated the field and avoided elimination from NASCAR’s Chase by winning the AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway in Delaware on Sunday afternoon.

Harvick, who needed to win the race to stay alive in the Chase for the Sprint Cup title, led 354 laps and advanced to the next round of NASCAR’s playoffs. Kyle Busch finished second, with Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jamie McMurray and Aric Almirola rounding out the top five finishers on Sunday.

Jamie McMurray, Jimmie Johnson, Paul Menard and Clint Bowyer were all eliminated as NASCAR’s 16-driver Chase field was trimmed to 12.

The 2015 NASCAR Chase series continues next Saturday in Charlotte.
