Two New York legislators are proposing increased penalties for those who sell synthetic marijuana.

Store owners who currently sell synthetic marijuana, "K-2," and "Spice," face a $500 fine if caught.

State Senator Jeffrey D. Klein and Assemblyman Mark Gjonaj are proposing increasing penalties to include increased fines, possible prison time, and the revocation of beer, cigarette, and lottery licenses.
