Utica, NY (WIBX) - Civil rights advocate and suspended attorney Leon Koziol has filed a petition with the U-S Supreme Court, asking the court to hear his case challenging New York's custody and child support laws. The Supreme Court accepts relatively few cases each year, but Koziol says his petition features questions of nationwide importance to parents and children.

Meanwhile, Koziol says a planning session scheduled for next week in New York City will seek to organize a national parenting rights convention and spring rally in Washington, DC.
