Kraft Hockeyville NHL Tickets at Clinton Arena Are Free But Limited

Clinton, NY is officially Kraft Hockeyville 2018. Now, with the NHL season quickly approaching, the much anticipated preseason game at Clinton Arena between the Buffalo Sabres and Columbus Blue Jackets is almost here and you can get your tickets for FREE!

According to the Clinton Arena, the NHL will be providing tickets free of charge to the community, but the process of getting yours hands on them is quite competitive. A post on the arena's Facebook page states,

People must sign up for the drawings in person at the Clinton Arena. The two times to do so are Sunday, Sept. 9 from 12 to 4 p.m. and Tuesday, Sept. 11 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Everyone signing up must show ID that includes home address. Entrants must be age 18 or older; proof of age might be required for verification.
Only one entry per household is allowed.

There are actual strict policies regarding how tickets are distributed. More than half of the tickets will be given to the community’s youth skaters. After those are accounted for then tickets will be dispersed, by random drawing, to Residents of the Town of Kirkland first, Residents of Oneida County excluding the Town of Kirkland next and All Others. Each winning entrant will be given tickets for two seats and some standing room only spots will be available. You MUST include the name of the person you wish to bring to the game on the ballot, otherwise you will only receive one.

If you are chosen to participate in this historic local event you must obtain your tickets before 5 p.m. on Friday, September 21st or they will be forfeited. A standby list of people will also be established. There are tentative pick-up dates of Sunday, September 16th from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Monday, September 17th from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Other arrangements may be made IF needed.

Clinton Arena also said in their Facebook post,

We appreciate everyone’s help in voting to make Clinton the 2018 Kraft Hockeyville USA community. The Arena’s seating is limited and we know more people want to come than there are tickets available. Over the next days we will share how to see the game at Viewing Parties in the village. We also will be sharing how to enjoy the four days of events leading up to the game during our Winning Weekend.
