LeBron James overcame his eight turnovers with 17 of his 32 points in the fourth quarter in an 87-70 win in New York as the Miami Heat took a 3-0 series lead over Knicks.

The Knicks, up by double digits at one point in the second quarter, could only muster 30 points in the second half. Carmelo Anthony scored 22, with Tyson Chandler adding 10 points and 15 boards.

Amar'e Stoudemire did not play due to the injuries he sustained punching glass after Game 2. It's uncertain whether he'll play in Game 4.

Dwyane Waded had 20 points for the Heat and Mario Chalmers had 19. Chris Bosh's status for the game was in question due to the birth of his first child. He flew to New York, then to Miami when his wife went into labor, then back to New York just before game time. He had 10 boards and nine points.

Game 4 is Sunday afternoon at MSG.
