Library Community Hosting Legislative Breakfast

Herkimer, NY (WIBX) - The Central New York Library Resources Council is hosting a legislative breakfast in Herkimer this Friday to discuss the financial future of the areas libraries with state and federal legislators. The breakfast event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at the Frank J. Basloe Library on 245 N. Main Street in Herkimer. Organizers say the gathering is an opportunity to discuss library programs, services and funding with elected officials. Local government officials, library staff, trustees, school administrators, patrons and all interested parties from the community are invited to attend, however, registration is required.
