Light Pole Outside F.X. Matt Brewery Gift Shop Displaced

An odd sight outside the FX Matt Brewing Company and its gift shop/tour center.

This week, local media gathered to meet with Boilermaker Race officials at the 15k and 5k finish line to coordinate coverage for the upcoming event something looked a bit out of place, literally.

One of the old fashioned light poles just outside of the Brewery Tour Entrance has been dislodged.

Brewery officials believe some drunken party-goer was feeling his 'beer muscles' sometime last weekend and wanted to show of his (or her) strength.

Officials say they're working the city of Utica to determine how to remove, fix or repair to the pole ahead of next weekend's Boilermaker.
