Little Falls Man Arrested For DWI After High Speed Chase

A 21-year-old Little Falls man has been arrested and is facing several charges after a traffic pursuit.

According to State Police, Troopers were traveling west on State Route 5s in Danube when they observed a vehicle traveling eastbound speeding and swerving. At one point, Troopers had to use evasive action to avoid being struck.

When Troopers activated emergency lights to stop the vehicle, the driver accelerated to over 100 miles per hour and failed to stop.

A chase ensued and the suspect's vehicle failed to negotiate a curve on Dillenbeck Road and overturned. The suspect tried to flee on foot, but was immediately taken into custody.

21-year-old Dakotah Redner of Little Falls is facing several charges including DWI and Reckless Driving.
