Live Burn Training At Utica Fire Academy [VIDEO]

It’s the end of 14 weeks of training.

16 recruits from the Utica Fire Academy began three days of Live Burn Training today at the fire training grounds on Leland Avenue.

Utica Deputy Fire Chief Michael Wusik says the recruits will test the skills they learned.in the classroom during the three days of training.

The recruits will also go through training on Monday and Tuesday.

The 16 recruits represent eight different fire departments from across the state, including Utica.
