Local Accountant Sentenced For Stealing From Clients

A local accountant was sentenced in Oneida County Court today for stealing over $800,000 from three elderly clients and a church.

61-year old Craig Podosek of Clayville had pleaded guilty to four counts of grand larceny and one count of scheme to defraud.

Assistant District Attorney Bernard Hyman says Podosek was sentenced to 5 to 15 years in prison on each of the four counts and will serve the terms concurrently.
