Local Bath Salts Incidents On The Rise

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Three people in three days were brought to the hospital by Utica Police for separate incidents resulting from taking bath salts.

Although charges may be filed at a later time, police are not releasing the names of those involved.

In the latest case a 41-year old woman attempted to bite a police officer, later screaming that she wanted to eat someone.

The synthetic substance has been to blame for a rash of bizarre incidents around the country.
