Boonville, NY (WIBX) - Police are crying foul as the owner of a local business showed some poor sportsmanship when it comes to obeying the law.

69-Year old Thomas Seymour of Lowville, the owner of "The Sporting Edge," allegedly sold synthetic marijuana to a minor.

While at the Oneida County-Boonville Fair on July 27, 2012 the young man said that he was not feeling well after smoking the drug which, he said, he bought from Seymour.

Oneida County Sheriffs searched the Boonville store and found the drugs.

The drugs were confiscated and Seymour was given a court date.
