Although several villages are holding elections tomorrow, only one contest features two people running against each other.

In Sylvan Beach, former Assemblyman Dave Townsend is running against Greg Horan for a two year term as mayor. Another race to fill two trustee spots in the village has William Shaughnessy and Mark Daily running unopposed. Those positions are also for two year terms.

Other uncontested local races include current Whitesboro mayor, Raymond Daviau, who is running for a one-year term and Robert Friedlander, Jr. who is campaigning for trustee. His position is also for one year.

In New York Mills, Justice Robert Glenn is going unchallenged for a four year term. Boonville also has two elections, including current mayor Michael Kramer running for another two year stint. Trustees Chester S. Bandych and Judith Dellerba are running uncontested, as well.

Results for each election should be available soon after polls close on Tuesday night.
