H&R Block — Utica/Rome's Tax Expert

The locations in Rome and Boonville, NY are locally owned and operated by local couple Wanda and Steve Calhoun. Wanda has been a Franchisee with H&R Block since December 2007, and she has prepared taxes with H&R Block since December 1997. Wanda was raised and educated in the Rome area. She joined the United States Marine Corps after graduating from Rome Free Academy in 1986. Steve and Wanda are veterans of the USMC.

Wanda has been preparing taxes for 18 years and Steve has helped run the offices in Rome since November of 2011. Their tax professionals complete a minimum of 29 hours of tax training each year. They have over 22 years combined years of tax experience.

They are very excited to be in Boonville and Rome to serve the local community. They are open year round and offer Tax Preparation and Business Services. They prepare from the simplest to the most complex tax return which also includes preparing partnership, corporation, and estate and gift tax returns. They also offer bookkeeping and payroll services to small businesses. They also can help with any Federal or NY State Audit even if they did not prepare the return.
