Local Post Offices Not Burning The Midnight Oil For Tax Day

Marcy, NY (WIBX) - If you're planning to snail-mail your tax return you'll need to have it done before 6:00pm tomorrow.

Because of the extra days to file, the post office is not keeping many offices open very late, as they have in years past, to accommodate last-minute filers.

So, even though technically you have until 11:59pm to get that postmark, the latest that you can get one in our area is 5:59pm.
