Acevedo Named Empire 8 Football Player Of The Week

Utica College's Anthony Acevedo has been named the Empire 8 Player of the Week.

Acevedo, of New Hartford, racked up 380 all purpose yards for Utica College is Saturday's 70-45 loss to No. 19 Salisbury University. Avecedo leads the team in receptions thus far this year with 24 grabs for 360 yards and three touchdowns.

The Pioneers are off to a 2-2 start. They'll hit the road to Troy this Saturday afternoon a 1:00.
