Local Reaction To Colorado Movie Theater Shootings

Utica, NY (WIBX) - At least 12 people are dead following an overnight shooting at a Colorado movie theater. It happened during a special midnight showing of the new Batman film, The Dark Knight, at Century 16 Movie Theaters at the Aurora Town Center.
Folks in New Hartford and Utica are reacting to the tragedy.

Security measures have been stepped up at theaters in the Big Apple. Locally, only the Marquee in New Hartford is showing the film but according to a spokesperson, no extra security steps are being taken . The suspected shooter is 24-year-old James Holmes, who officials describe as a medical student dropout.
