The Revolutionary Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America will begin their annual "Scouting for Food" effort this Saturday, November 7th

Local scouts will be leaving door hangers at homes throughout the area with information and donation tips.  Residents are asked to place non-perishable food items in bags and leave them outside their front door for collection next Saturday, November 14th.

If no door hanger is delivered to your home, you can drop off food items at the Cuncil office at 1401 Genesee Street in Utica.

Last year, the Council's Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts collected over 30,000 items of food to benefit local families in need.
