Local supporters of Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump were at Union Station in Utica on Friday.

Three of the supporters have volunteered to become delegates at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland in July.

They are Allen Thayer of Utica, Barbara Cavaretta of Utica and Marcia Skinner of Camden.

Local Trump campaign organizer Tim Trent says because Trump got over 50 percent of the votes in the 22nd Congressional District in the New York Pimary, delegates from the district should be true Trump supporters.

Their names have been submitted to Oneida County Republican Party Chairman Peter Sobel.

The New York State meeting to appoint delegates will be held on May 25th.
